Conserving Our Environment for Pennsylvania's Future
As SRBC works to advance its water resources management priorities, we pursue both policy/regulatory actions as well as seek beneficial partnerships. For this program I’ll outline our priorities, discuss policies enacted to advance those visions, and share information on opportunities to work with SRBC to advance our shared environmental interests.
Presenter: Andrew Dehoff was appointed Executive Director of SRBC in September 2013 following two three-year management assignments at the Commission with first the Planning and Operations program and more recently the Project Review program. The latter work in the Commission’s regulatory program entailed directing the review of applications and formulation of recommendations and policies related to proposed surface and ground water withdrawals and the consumptive use of water by industries, public water suppliers, power generation facilities and the natural gas industry.
As manager of the Planning and Operations program, Andrew oversaw the collection and analysis of water use data, provided technical and hydrologic support to other Commission programs, and managed staff engaged in flood and drought preparedness activities.
Note: Registration is for one entrant. Any other individuals who would like to join this session are required to complete their own registration forms. The registration fee is set per person, not per connection.
