Conserving Our Environment for Pennsylvania's Future
Kathy will provide an overview of the Delaware Estuary Program and highlights of work that the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is leading in Pennsylvania.
Presenter: Kathy Klein first joined PDE in 1997 and served as the Executive Director until 2007. Before her return to PDE in 2018, she was the executive Director of the Water Resources Association of the Delaware River Basin and worked as a strategic planning consultant with the Philadelphia Water Department.
Throughout her 35-year career, Kathy has worked to improve environmental health in the Delaware River Watershed and served as a development and program director for several other regional organizations.
Klein has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She resides in Wilmington, Delaware, and spends weekends enjoying the Delaware River in Stockton, New Jersey.
