The Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP), organized in 1985 as a non-profit entity, is a non-political, interdisciplinary organization of professionally qualified individuals working in Environmental Management, Environmental Protection, Compliance, Design, Engineering, Research and Education.
PAEP regularly conducts and coordinates sponsored technical programs and activities for the benefit and education of its members and guests. It holds an annual conference to bring PAEP members together for learning and creating networks with other professionals across the State.
PAEP is subdivided into three regional sections, Eastern, Central and Western. Sections provide programming and educational opportunities for their area, along with, social networking events with their peers. Their coverage areas are:
- Eastern: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Monroe, North Hampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming Counties.
- Central: Adams, Blair, Bradford, Cameron, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Luzerne, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, North Cumberland, Perry, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union, York Counties.
- Western: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington, Westmoreland Counties.
Additionally, the Pollution Prevention/Energy Efficiency (P2E2) Roundtable provides programs across the State.
PAEP publishes a newsletter and reaches out to the membership through emails announcing events, activities, and career opportunities.
We provide our membership with an online membership directory to facilitate networking with fellow professionals.
We support our members by posting resumes for free on our website. We also post available career opportunities without charge to members (non-members can post for $25 per position).
We subscribe to the social media platforms of LinkedIn and Facebook.
The Association is also a member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).
